Everyone knows standards are important but few understand the process or know who creates them. The answers might be surprising to many.
RFID Connections spoke with Steve Halliday president of High Tech Aid. He is the chairman of the SC31 committee responsible for creating RFID air interface standards and is a co-chairman of the EPCglobal™ Technical Standards Committee. Steve is the 2010 recipient of AIM's Richard R. Dilling Award for his contributions to the advancement of the AIDC industry and his many years of involvement in standards development. He's here with us today to talk about RFID standards and how you can get involved.
